About Us

Nadakattin World Peace Foundation

At the Nadakattin World Peace Foundation, we stand united in our mission to support and uplift farmers in their time of need, including providing financial assistance, and education support on agro-based solutions.

Founded by Padmashri Dr Abdul Khader Imamsab Nadakattin, our organization has been a beacon of hope for distressed farmers across India.

Farmers often fall victim to the burden of debt, and some tragically resort to suicide. The government steps in to support the families of those who have taken their own lives. However, it is believed that if there is an ability to identify farmers showing signs of suicidal tendencies and provide timely assistance during their crisis, these suicides could be prevented. The main goal of the Nadakattin Vishwashanti Foundation is precisely this—to offer financial aid to farmers struggling with such thoughts.

Comprising sixteen individuals with diverse backgrounds, including professionals from IAS and KAS, the foundation draws on their profound knowledge and talent. It encompasses members from all communities. Donations made to this foundation have been granted tax exemption by the Government of India under sections 12A and 80G.

About Our Founder

Padmashri Dr. Abdul Khader Imamsab Nadakattin

Throughout their journey, they have not only developed numerous agricultural implements and machines but have also actively engaged in social service initiatives, aiming to prevent farmer suicides and support those in crisis. The establishment of the Nadakattin Vishwashanti Foundation and the Nadakattin World Peace Foundation showcases their commitment to promoting communal harmony and uplifting the underprivileged.

Furthermore, their contributions have been recognized and honoured by various organizations, including prestigious awards like the Padma Shri and Karnataka Rajyotsava Award. Their innovative work has been acknowledged not only at the national level but also by international experts, as demonstrated by the recognition received from American scientists.

Their dedication to research and development, even in the face of personal challenges and adversities, exemplifies their unwavering commitment to the cause of agriculture and the betterment of society. The numerous certificates of honour received from esteemed organizations and individuals further validate their significant impact on various facets of society.

The challenging journey led to them losing 60 acres of land and their home. Under such dire circumstances, with even the means for a simple meal absent, they found themselves on the brink of committing suicide. Fortunately, they were saved by Dr. S.A. Patil, a former Vice-Chancellor of Agriculture University Dharwad, and their nephew, Dr. Amin, who offered crucial support to continue their innovation. Subsequently, their research and innovations proved highly valuable to numerous farmers, bringing them prosperity and preventing suicides among their peers. The person who once contemplated suicide has now grown experienced and successful in their endeavours.
